3. Why we process the data

We process your data only to operate GroupsJOBS:

  • maintain your account and let you sign in
  • publish postings and review them before they go live
  • put specialists and advertisers in touch with each other
  • send emails that you have triggered or subscribed to (confirmations, job alerts)
  • bill subscriptions if you publish paid postings
  • prevent misuse and operate the platform securely

The basis is our contract with you (use of the platform), our legitimate interest in operating the platform securely and, for the visibility of your profile, your consent. We do not sell data or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who sees your profile

You decide who sees your specialist profile and your J+S profile. Newly created profiles are invisible.

LevelWho sees the profile
Invisible no one except you and the Groups team
For advertisers signed-in advertisers with at least one approved posting

Advertisers never see your email address or phone number. Contact takes place through invitations, requests and messages in GroupsJOBS. If a business invites you for a posting, you see its contact details there. For a profile to be visible, we need your explicit consent, and a separate one for the J+S profile. For the specialist profile we store the date and time of your consent; for the J+S profile, every time consent is given or withdrawn, with date, time and text version. You can make both profiles invisible again at any time.
